Our Story

At Ruth’s Kreations, every recipe tells a story.

Our business was born from a dream that began many years ago between my grandmother Ruth and me. We always dreamed of starting our own food business, and though we never had the chance to build it together, her love and her recipes live on in every bake we make.

Our name honours her, Ruth’s Kreations, the K comes from her surname, Kirton.

Every product is handmade using the authentic recipes I grew up learning by her side, from traditional sweet bread to rich Barbados rum cake. And the story doesn’t end there. Our signature seasoning recipe comes from my mum, whose cooking taught me the importance of fresh, authentic flavours. Our pepper sauce is inspired by my family’s recipe, keeping another cherished family tradition alive.

Originally from Barbados and now living in the UK for over 20 years, I created Ruth’s Kreations to share genuine Barbadian flavours with others, while keeping my family’s legacy alive.
